Taulman Nylon 618 1.75mm 450g
Nylon 618 is the first release of a successful Nylon series from Taulman 3D. It was introduced to get the properties of nylon to 3D printers. Some of those typical properties: strong tough printed part can be milled afterwards Thanks to those properties a new area of applications (where toughness and flexibility is essential) will be accessible for 3D printing. This Nylon filament is produced by Taulman 3D especially for 3D printing.
Printing Guidelines
Taulman 618 Nylon can be used on most all 3D printers capable for temperature ranges from 230-245 °C. 618 Nylon is very slippery and will adhere to few materials only like garolite, PVA covered glass or poplar wood printbeds.
Check out the advised parameters below to get 618 Nylon working on your printer.
- Nozzle temperature: 245°C
- Heated bed temperature: 30-65°C
- Printing speed: 80% of ABS speed
- Bed material: Garolite (for cold beds), or PVA covered glass (55°C bed)
-
Use the above values as a starting point, optimal values for your specific printer may vary from the values shown above, depending on e.g. nozzle diameter, printing speed and layer height.
