UltiMaker Method XL 3D printer

UltiMaker Method XL is the first newly released 3D printer of the newly merged company (Ultimaker+Makerbot=UltiMaker). The Method XL is so to speak a black line printer, while the UltiMaker S series is a white line. Method XL is a reliable printer that offers large-format pieces, with industrial-grade quality and high-performance materials.

UltiMaker Method XL key features

• Large print chamber (305x305x320mm) - The UltiMaker Method XL's print chamber is larger than any previous UltiMaker 3D printer. With this machine, it is possible to print large parts, with industrial-grade materials and without compromising quality.
• Heated chamber and print bed (+100°C) - The print chamber of the new Method XL heats up to 100°C and the print bed to 105°C. Method XL has a patented VECT heat control system (Variable Environmental Controlled Temperature), which heats and controls the printing environment evenly. Thanks to the new feature, printed parts are 2x stronger on the z-axis and 2x more accurate throughout.
• Good dimensional accuracy of prints +/- 0.2mm - Method XL is designed to maintain dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances when printing large parts of ABS material. The device therefore avoids the parts from warping, the layers stick to each other and the prints are also dimensionally accurate.
• Fast-dissolving supports for ABS plastics - The new support material for ABS plastics enables complex shapes. After printing, the material quickly dissolves in water.
• Built-in air filtration - UltiMaker Method XL has activated carbon filtration in addition to HEPA filtration.
• Replaceable print cores - Quick replaceable cores and the right core for different materials.
