PVDF-C filament 1KG

PVDF is a semicrystalline polymer which experiences warping when it transitions from a melt to solid state. This stress is the result of crystallization and leads to dimensional distortion of the printed object and loss of adhesion to the build plate. Stress can be eliminated by annealing. But there is an easier way. Nile Polymers is pleased to introduce Fluorinar-C™ Kynar® PVDF 3D filament which completely eliminates warping in large PVDF 3D prints.

Available for the first time

Now large parts can be printed without loss of print bed adhesion. The final print remains perfectly flat after completion and cooling. Before the existence of 3D printing, one-off parts were typically made by machining from solid stock. Fluorinar-C™ now gives you possibilities: you can either print the part or print solid stock and create the part by machining. Either way, Fluorinar-C™ Kynar® PVDF 3D filament gives you the choices you need to complete your job.

PVDF-H filament 500g

Nile Polymers is the first to manufacture a 3D print filament made from Arkema’s Kynar® PVDF. Known as Fluorinar-H™, this PVDF homopolymer filament is available in 500 g spools with either a 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm diameter with a +/- 0.05 mm tolerance. Now scientists and engineers can design and manufacture parts required in the lab or in production without the time and expense needed to create an injection molded part. This filament is ideal for either rapid prototyping or for small production runs. PVDF parts can be created from Fluorinar-H™ Kynar® PVDF filament in a matter of hours instead of months.

Ultimaker CPE+ 2.85mm 700g

CPE (co-polyester) materials are chemical resistant, tough and demonstrate good dimensional stability. It is a preferred choice for both functional prototypes and mechanical parts. While both CPE and CPE+ provide similar performance
characteristics, CPE+ provides the added benefit of higher temperature resistance and increased impact strength.

Reasons to choose Ultimaker CPE Family

  • Excellent chemical resistance

  • Excellent toughness and dimensional stability

  • Good interlayer adhesion, especially when using the front door add-on

  • Low levels of ultrafine particles (UFPs) and volatile organic compounds

    (VOCs)

  • Ideal for short run manufacturing and functional prototypes

Differences between Ultimaker CPE and CPE+

  • CPE is available in a wide range of colors to choose from, including grayscale for more professional looking models.

  • CPE’s tensile and flexural strength are higher, whilst CPE+ is formulated to be up to 10 times tougher.

  • CPE+ features a temperature resistance of up to 100 oC when compared to CPE, which is only resistant up to 70 oC.

  • CPE has a better build plate adhesion than CPE+, but you won’t notice the difference when using the stickers supplied in our Advanced 3D Printing Kit.

ULTIMAKER CPE FAMILY: CHEMICAL RESISTANT AND TOUGH

Featuring chemical resistance and toughness, the Ultimaker CPE family of filaments is a good choice for functional prototypes and modeling. CPE+ provides the additional benefit of increased temperature and impact resistance. Thanks to Cura's new material profiles, which we’ve developed with care, 3D printing your parts and prototypes is easy and reliable.
